Welcome to my website! I do hope you enjoy looking around :-) I'm always delighted to hear from my readers, and I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have about my writing.

Karen McLaren is a fictional character, of course, and Castillo does not really exist (at least not as it is portrayed in the series). I do, however, put a lot of my own life experiences into the books: I live in Southern Spain for half the year; I have a cat named Falstaff; I was a teacher like Karen; I love classic rock music, and - like the protagonist - I have been known to drink too much wine on occasion!!
